Nowadays, I am trying to update myself to the AI era to upgrade my love to material performance in plastics.
You can find a lot of text creating, essay writing AI’s out there but what more attracts me is to create images with AI. The transition of words to images catches me helpless!
I found the application named Craiyon which creates arts, drawings and photos; or there is an option ‘None’ for Artificial Intelligence to decide what to create as well! I started asking one of the most common questions in signage market: “How to compare acrylic sheet and polycarbonate sheet” and wanted to see the results in photos. The output was interesting but was under my expectations for a real answer to the question. Here are the best outputs:

Then, I wanted to be more clear about the question, since I know that you need to be as precise as possible when dealing with computer minds! So I upgraded my question to: ‘Compare clear acrylic sheet and clear polycarbonate sheet’ and wanted the results in drawings, instead of photos. What do you think of the results?:

You see..? I certainly got better results. Now lets sharpen the question a bit more. True; to what aspect would the AI create the image as a comparison? So the final question fine tuned to: ‘Compare clear acrylic sheet and clear polycarbonate sheet light transmission on a drawing’ and here is what I got:
And lets return to the starting question: “Can AI help us compare two translucent materials to enlighten our customers?” Looks like we need to sharpen our questions and teach a bit more to Craiyon. Any question you submit will also contribute to its database and will shape future results.

Now the drawings started look like transparent sheets that can transmit light through 🙂 Lastly, I wanted to see the results in photos instead of drawings. Yet, this looks much more something about translucent sheets, but still not enough!

I believe I taught enough to Craiyon AI image generator for today. Did you realize that there is always a human head among the results? That looks interesting, I wonder if that comes from millions of people’s face images related to acrylic or polycarbonate sheet subjects that the AI gathered in its database? Or does it have the instinct to create a human too!? What else did you realize out of these results?
